Appointments


Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.  The office is closed for lunch from 12:00-1:30 pm every day.

Please call us at (925) 866-8080 before 10:30 am to make an appointment for urgent (same-day) appointments.  If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.


Prescriptions


The best time to obtain a refill or renewal for your prescription is at your appointment.  Most prescriptions are sent directly to your preferred pharmacy before you have left the office.  Most mail-order pharmacies will accept a direct FAX from our office.  If you have a mail-order pharmacy that requires use of a proprietary form, please ask Dr. Roy for a printed prescription; he will gladly provide one for you to submit to your pharmacy.

If you need a renewal prior to your appointment, please contact your pharmacy and they will send us a refill request via FAX.  Please plan ahead; it may take up to 3 business days for our office to authorize your prescription.

Controlled substances, such as narcotic pain relievers and some sleeping pills, require an appointment. 

Drug samples are not stocked in our office.  Short-term prescriptions can be written if you wish to try a new prescription for a short time period.
